High Sheriff's Award for Langley Colts

Langley Colts Youth FC have won the award of Volunteer Centre of the Year for the support, respect and training it gives to its helpers.
The club was set up in 2000 to provide youngsters with footballing activities and has since been awarded the FA Charter Standard and expanded to incorporate 15 teams in all age groups.
Club secretary, Gino Ostacchini, who nominated the club for the award, said: "we are shocked and delighted to have won the award, especially considering the good work of the other voluntary groups in the running".
"In the seven years I have been a volunteer, I have seen the club grow extensively to currently support over 200 young people. The club is very pro-active and inclusive of everyone."
