Once again you could have called Aim High's performance as the Bobby show. One player who is far too good playing for a mediocre team. Although he was in a promotion winning team last year, was kept down a league and is now playing for their so called B team.
We finished the first half 2-0 down after two slip ups letting their only decent player through.
After a change around at half time Langley really pushed themselves and earned a goal, scored by Sharif to get them back into the game. After a third goal from you know who we once again fought back to 3 - 2 with a wonder strike by Joe Hufton. After missing a few chances to go level, 5 minutes from the end of the game Aim High scored their forth and 5 minutes after the whistle should have gone they scored their fifth. The score line looks flattering for them but Langley really worked hard as a team and deserved alot more out of the game.
In junior football, should all players be given the same amount of time on the pitch during a game, regardless of ability?
Yes, always. Getting kids involved is the most important thing.
Yes, unless it is an important game.
No. Winning is important at all ages, so the best players should play more often.
